A great short ferrata but an odd experience today... It has changed slightly since completing both ferratas a year previous. Both ferratas are still accessible (as of March 2026) despite there being a new fence put up at the access path with a sign that says Restricted Access (which is easily bypassed). Previously the access to the start of the ferrata was through a dilapidated house (they have put a no entry fence/sign around this too) but rather, the first several metres has been rebolted with a brand new cable just before the no entry fence. The new staples are awful, flimsy and already falling out of the rock! As we'd done it previously we expected it to join to the original metalwork, which it does, so it's a matter of braving the initial dodgy staples until then. You top out at the start of the new tourist walk which you will need to hop the fence to exit. We took our helmets and harness off before doing so, but I would suggest leaving it on, as the security guard blew a whistle at us and insisted on seeing our equipment before letting us walk away. On seeing our equipment, he became very friendly and informative, noting that it is still accessible for climbers but they need to check that 'crazy' folks aren't climbing without safety (good on them, really). So yes it's still all technically accessible but for how much longer we shall see...
